Tanner's Sports Center

Today, I visited Tanner’s Sports Center with the intention to sell a rifle and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The staff, particularly Mark who appraised my rifle, was outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised when he offered me a price well above my expectations, showcasing a level of honesty and fairness that is rare to find. The environment was friendly and welcoming, without the slightest hint of a pushy sales atmosphere. The entire process was efficient, taking less than 15 minutes, but I stayed a bit longer to enjoy the pleasant conversation and company. Tanner's has a community store feel to it, and I remember buying my first shotgun from them 10 years ago. They have maintained that same reliability and quality of service since. For anyone looking to buy, sell, or just talk about firearms, I can't recommend Tanner‘s Sports Center enough. Make sure to ask for Mark; he's quite remarkable and a true asset to the Tanner's team.

Christopher runs the place and if you need something he doesn't have he can acquire it quickly. Got me a brand new sexy CZ Shadow 2 Compact when no one can keep them in stock! Very reasonable prices and extremely knowledgeable staff, this is where I purchased my last three firearms. Highly recommend that you visit this store and see for yourself how great it is!

As a first time buyer I knew nothing about firearms and wanted to purchase a handgun for employment reasons, I went here and Kevin went above and beyond for me to make sure I understood the process and laws behind it. He helped me pick out a beautiful Sig Sauer p365x and carefully explained everything to me. I highly recommend any first time gun buyers to go here!

Tanners sold me a shotgun that was not only dirty but had a pitted barrel. The listing description said the bore was "clean, bright, shiny" which was an intentional lie. So I asked for a partial refund of $120 based on it's actual condition. They then proceeded to argue with me and yell at me over the phone and email and blamed me for accepting the FFL transfer. Initially they even refused to take it back. Word to the wise if you buy from them deep clean and bore scope anything before you accept anything from them. Their hostile and agressive customer service sucks. Edit: There you go, Tanner's is out here badmouthing an honest customer. If by inspect you mean clean and scrub the dirty bore that you supposedly described as clean and then check for pitting in a barrel that was advertised by you as being "Clean, shiny, bright", then no, no one expects to recieve a dirty barrel that is hiding pitting on it because no one goes to transfer a gun and sits there to clean it in front of another FFL. Dont shop at Tanners folks unless you want pitted barrels.
